The Katahdin Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Member Ambassador
responsible for
~ recruiting new members,
~ developing/maintaining relationships with members, business leaders,
Chamber Board and staff, strategic partners, volunteers, and community
leaders in the region to support the overall mission and goals of the
Chamber and its members.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
o Strong knowledge of and passion for the Katahdin region
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills
o Self-starter with initiative, problem-solving and negotiating skills
o Detail-oriented and organized
o Microsoft Office suite experience
o Positive attitude and self-confidence
o Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality

Schedule and Compensation:
15 hours per week with opportunity for more depending upon membership
results (flexible schedule with base of operations at the Visitor Center
in Millinocket)

Rate of pay: $20/hour
