The result of hard work and dedication by the sons of Earlan Campbell, a leader in developing snowmobiles in the State of Maine, the Antique Snowmobile Museum features a host of reconditioned sleds from a number of early manufacturers; all of which are in working condition. The museum is located adjacent to the Northern Timber Cruiser’s Clubhouse and contains 36 antique snowmobiles dating back to a 1943 Eliason Motor Toboggan. Some of these snowmobiles have been donated, while others are on loan making up one of the largest collections of antique snowmobiles in the Northeast.
Many of the sleds from the Antique Snowmobile Museum make it out at least once a year for the annual Snowmobile Parade during our Winterfest in February. If you happen to be in town, it’s an event you shouldn’t miss!
Please visit the website www.northerntimbercruisers.com or call the clubhouse at (207) 723-6023 for hours of operation.
